MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
LEGAL BASIS
The Catanauan Cove accommodates limited members, the qualifications, grounds for termination, as well as the privileges and obligations of whom, shall in accordance with the corporate by-laws, be approved by the Board.
The Board shall exercise this power following the limitations provided for by law, specifically, R.A. No. 8779 otherwise known as the Securities Regulation Code (SRC).
All buyers and investors are automatic members. As such members, they have the privilege to use the facilities for free or with discounts and or be awarded with rebates / profits share and such other privileges which the Board is empowered to grant.
As a warning to the public, this membership privilege is not a public offering nor involving the issuance of Securities, but mere grant of privileges to lot buyers, investors and others desiring to enjoy our facilities and privileges subject to qualifications approved by the Board and in strict compliance with applicable laws.
Privileges, Obligation & Advantages
ALL LOT BUYERS, HOME OWNERS, INVESTORS ARE AUTOMATIC REGULAR MEMBERS OF THE MAIN RESORT WITH PRIVILEGES AS FOLLOWS:
Regular members shall enjoy the following privileges:
• “Unlimited free nights” maximum of 4 pax paying only the utility fees;
• Free entrance for 10 pax Day Tours, once a month;
• 20% discount on all paying facilities except food and beverages;
• Membership extensions of up to 5, non-transferable;
Convertible Privilege Members (CPM) shall enjoy the following privileges:
• 3 monthly “free nights” maximum of 4 pax paying only the utility fees and “free” day-tour entrance fees for 10 pax twice a year.
• Right to convert or upgrade membership status;
• Lock the price of the preferred lot upon payment of the first monthly amortization and;
• Home owners may enroll their units into Catcove’s rental program at 60-40% sharing the latter for management.
OBLIGATIONS OF A MEMBER
• Payment of monthly amortization & dues as approved by the Board.
• Strict compliance with house rules.
• Advance confirmed bookings during peak season and special events.
• Privileges are suspended in case of arrears, with penalties for late payments.
• Payment of applicable government taxes and administrative fees.
• Lot buyers are encouraged to construct their houses within 2 years upon full payment.
ADVANTAGES OF BEING A MEMBER
All members commonly enjoy the following advantages:
• 100% guarantee to recover the investment, even just through monthly free accommodation;
• Opportunity to earn more than just to recover the investment;
• Right to upgrade or convert membership status without deduction / reduction of the amount originally paid as membership fee(s), subject to available slots and payment of lot balance price or upgraded fees;
• Right to become a permanent business partner of the resort, by renting out their houses or villas to the resort’s customers at 60-40 % sharing, the latter for management; and
• Right to become one of the limited community-members who will be accommodated and allowed to reside within, even and after the resort, shall have become a WORLD CLASS, 5-STAR BEACH RESORT FACILITIES.
The above privileges / advantages are subject to available slots. While priorities shall be given to existing registered members, particularly with respect to lots purchase, and other investment opportunities, non-members will be accommodated on a “first-come-first-reserve” basis.
